On 7 March 2025 they responded:
Pursuant to Section 1(1)(a) of the Act, GLD informs you that it does not hold the information you have requested. (Emphasis added).
Subject to the Section 16 of the Act, GLD has an obligation to provide advice and assistance to applicants. GLD's purpose is to provide legal and litigation advise to its clients, the government departments. We do this by providing legal advice on the development, design and implementation of government policies and decisions, drafting secondary legislation and working with Parliamentary Counsel on primary legislation, and representing the government in court. Our purpose is not to store the types of documents you are requesting.
In this instance GLD advises you to contact the Office of the Advocate General for Scotland, who may hold the information, or advise you further on the matter.
